Q What hours are you available to pick-up and transport patients?
A Family Care is pleased to offer service 24-hours a day/seven days a week.
Q Do you only provide transportation for medical patients?
A No. Although Family Care primarily works with Workers' Compensation clients, private-pay clients are welcome to use Family Care services regardless of reason.
Q Is anyone (i.e., a family member) allowed to travel with the patient?
A Yes. Each patient is allowed to have one escort accompany him/her for no additional charge.
Q How much notice do I need to give to schedule transportation?
A 24-hours notice would be kindly appreciated.
Q What kind of insurance will you file?
A At this time, Family Care is only able to file Workers' Compensation transportation claims.
Q I see the costs for transportation on your rates page. Are special discounts ever available?
A Yes. Family Care will occasionally run specials. In addition, for some long trips (i.e. state to state) a flat rate fee may be negotiated. |
